Hajj and Umrah

Both Hajj and Umrah are sacred pilgrimages to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia. Hajj is obligatory for Muslims who meet specific criteria, whereas Umrah is a voluntary pilgrimage that can be undertaken at any time of the year (except during the days of Hajj).

Hajj Package Details:

General Overview:

  1. Hajj takes place during specific days of the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah.
  2. It is obligatory for Muslims who are physically and financially able.

 

Umrah Package Details:

General Overview:

  1. Umrah can be performed anytime of the year except during the Hajj days.
  2. It includes some of the Hajj rituals, such as Tawaf, Sa'i, and the Ihram state, but on a smaller scale.

Tour Plan for Hajj:

Day 1-2: Arrival in Mecca

  1. Arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah or Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina.
  2. Transfer to Mecca for Ihram (spiritual state) and Umrah performance, which includes Tawaf (circumambulating the Kaaba), Sa'i (walking between Safa and Marwah), and cutting hair or shaving.
  3. Accommodation in Mecca near the Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque).

Day 3-5: Travel to Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah

  1. Travel to Mina for the Day of Tarwiyah, followed by the Day of Arafat (the most critical day of Hajj).
  2. Prayers at Arafat; this is the spiritual climax of Hajj.
  3. After sunset, move to Muzdalifah to spend the night under the open sky.

Day 6-7: Rituals of Sacrifice and Stoning

  1. On Eid al-Adha, perform the ritual of Qurbani (animal sacrifice) and Ramy al-Jamarat (stoning of the devil) at the Jamarat Bridge in Mina.
  2. Afterward, return to Mecca to perform Tawaf al-Ifadah (main circumambulation).

Day 8-10: Final Days of Hajj

  1. Stoning at Mina for Ramy al-Jamarat on additional days.
  2. Return to Mecca for Tawaf al-Wida (farewell Tawaf) before leaving.

Tour Plan for Umrah:

Day 1: Arrival in Mecca

  1. Arrive in Jeddah and transfer to Mecca for performing Umrah rituals.
  2. Tawaf (circumambulating the Kaaba), Sa'i (between Safa and Marwah), and cutting hair or shaving.

Day 2-3: Explore Mecca

  1. Additional visits to important sites such as Jabal al-Noor, the Cave of Hira, and Masjid al-Haram.

Day 4: Travel to Medina

  1. After performing Umrah, transfer to Medina to visit Masjid al-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque).
  2. Visit the Quba Mosque and the grave of Prophet Muhammad.

Day 5-6: Departure

  1. Return to Jeddah for departure or continue to other destinations in Saudi Arabia.
